Baseball fans will have a different view on their teams next season. The baseball Winter Meetings with teams and players held all the attention in sports.

Some notable offseason moves: Matt Kemp (OF) dealt to the San Diego Padres from Los Angeles Dodgers in a 5 player deal.

Jon Lester (Pitcher) signs with the Chicago Cubs for $155 million over 6 years.

Torii Hunter (OF) is going back to the Minnesota Twins to end his career.

The Baltimore Orioles lost two outfielders, Nick Markakis to the Atlanta Braves and Nelson Cruz to the Seattle Mariners via free agency.

The New York Yankees had to find someone to replace Derek Jeter (SS), so they went with Didi Gregorius via a trade with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Oakland Athletics cleaned house, trading away Jeff Samardzija (Pitcher) to the Chicago White Sox and Brandon Moss (1B) to the Cleveland Indians.

The Milwaukee Brewers also surprised the league with trading their long time opening day starter, Yovani Gallardo, to Texas in exchange for defensive help.

But two of the most interesting transactions were Hanley Ramirez (3B & SS) and Pablo Sandoval (3B) leaving their respective teams to play for the Boston Red Sox. Boston was only 71-91 after winning the World Series just a season before. Plus the Los Angeles Dodgers traded Dee Gordan (SS & 2B), Dan Haren (Pitcher), and Miguel Rojas (SS) to the Miami Marlins for Pitcher Andrew Heany (who was promptly trad- ed to the Los Angeles Angels) and Chris Hatcher (Pitcher).
