NBA Superstar has another down-FALL

Imagine growing up in the city of Chicago, home of about 2.7 million people, playing the same game thousands of people are playing, being raised through hard times in your family, but never having anything less than love for where you are from.

Everyone and everything is against you, making it to where you want to be. Nobody has faith in you other than your mother, your dad is gone, not there to help you become a man. You’re not alone though and you’ll always have her support. “My mom would walk down the street and drag us home if she heard we were getting into trouble,” Derrick Rose told Sports Illustrated.

No matter what critics say about his ways from his past, he can’t be stopped on the court. He proved this winning the MVP award in 2011, giving his team the No. 1 seed over LeBron James’ Miami Heat in the playoffs.

Ever since Rose was drafted No. 1 in 2008 by his hometown Bulls, he has received the most support in the city since Michael Jordan. Chicago is Rose’s blood and drive.

But Rose is bad for his hometown Bulls.

He is a virus to this team, but not because he can’t get the job done and not because he isn’t a winner.

Rose’s legs are dead, gone, and for good.

Ever since he fell down and did not get back up, putting the whole city of Chicago into let down. Hopes were high and completely destroyed in every aspect.

It is time for Derrick to move out of town if he truly loves Chicago. The Bulls have so much talent, such a great coach and one of the biggest fan bases in sports.

If Rose wants to see Chicago happy again and winning, he needs to ask to be released.

Since the fall in the playoffs in which Rose tore his ACL in his left leg, Rose has only played in 33 percent of the Bulls’ games since that injury, according to ESPN Chicago, and now will miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season with a torn right meniscus.

The Bulls have a roster which is ready to win right now, not later when Rose is healthy. The Bulls need to look for a new point guard. The time is up for Rose in Chicago, it has to be.

Look for Rose, who’s known to make the right decisions in his NBA career, to just face the fact he needs to move on to help not only himself, but the city of Chicago. Maybe he will take a couple seasons off to spend time with his son and recover to hopefully find some new life in his legs. I love the idea of Chicago trading Derrick Rose for draft picks, but I honestly don’t see any team giving up a first-rounder for the injury prone point guard. The Bulls now need to enter rebuilding mode. Summer 2015, here come the Bulls.
