As seniors prepare to leave school and continue off into the real world, the Communications Academy seniors are still busy with their artwork. Beatrice Muresanu is one of the artistic students working hard to finish the year strong.
“[She’s] incredibly talented in the terms of versatility and being able to work with a variety of media,” said academy teacher, Sandra Bleser.
According to Bleser, Muresanu has shown great improvement in the past four years and has excelled in her classes.
“She’s shown great interest in each and every project that we’ve done in the academy and she’s shown great growth which is always exciting, as an instructor, to see,” said Bleser.
Muresanu has been involved in art all of her life and is inspired by nature, saying that nature is the prettiest thing there is and that there’s nothing that can compare to it.
“My favorite subject would be nature in general. I’ve drawn a lot of trees and flowers,” she said.
But that’s not all she’s done. Her favorite piece is an illustration of a group of musicians, Flatbush Zombies. She likes both digital and traditional art, and prefers to use colored pencils and Photoshop.
While her future plans are not focused specifically on art, she wants to continue doing art for the rest of her life
“I really love it,” she said.
