Students who are having trouble deciding where they want to go for college should re- search various choices and see what is so great about each school. There are so many colleges to choose from. When looking for the right college, look at different websites and check the rankings of each school and see what makes them great.

While looking at the rankings of Wiscon- sin colleges, keep in mind that each website will have its own ranking. To gure out which ranking to use, pick two and compare them. Also check reviews from people who attended the school.

College Rankings:

1. The University of Wisconsin-Madison is located in Madison,Wis. It is a public university that serves more than 40,000 students. It has an 83 percent graduation rate with an annual in-state tuition of $9,273, not including extra fees or room and board. It offers a wide variety of undergraduate majors and master’s degrees. Madison also has one of the nation’s top online masters of engineering programs.

2. Beloit College, located in Beloit, Wis. Beloit College has an 80 percent graduation rate and serves more than 1,000 students. This one has small class sizes, with an annual in-state tuition of $42,220, not including extra fees or room and board. Students are able to pursue unique studies in dance, cognitive studies, etc.

3. University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, located in La Crosse, Wis. The col- lege offers unique undergraduate majors, ranging from sustainable business to inclusive recreation. It has a campus size of 11,000 students with an in-state tuition of $7,585, not including extra fees or room and board. The school also has a 68 percent graduation rate. UW-La Crosse has a master’s in the science of medical dosimetry as it relates to radiation oncology for treatment of cancer and many online degree programs are available.

4. Wisconsin Lutheran College is located in Milwaukee. The college pro- vides a wide variety of clubs and organizations, offering majors from biological anthropology to human social services and many others. This independent Chris- tian college has a 61 percent graduation rate and $25,810 in-state tuition. This doesn’t include extra fees or room and board. About 1,503 students are enrolled and the campus itself is large.

5. Marquette University is also located in Milwaukee. Marquette has an in- state tuition of $35,480, this doesn’t include extra fees or room and board; with a graduation rate of 79 percent. This university provides more than 85 majors, 80 minors, and 60 doctoral and masters programs. With its large campus, Marquette has 12,589 students.
