1.The Last Song

This movie based on best-selling author Nicholas Sparks’ novel, “The Last Song” will take your emotions on a rollercoaster. “The Last Song” will fill you with laughter and love, but is also bound to make you cry as troubled teen Ronny (Miley Cyrus) is forced to spend the summer with her father and finds love along the way. Oh and did I mention that Liam Hemsworth is in it?

2. 10 Things I Hate About You

When pretty and popular teenage Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) is told she can’t date until Kat (Julia Stiles) — her stubborn, boy-hating older sister — dates, her potential boyfriend takes action and forms a plan to arrange a date for Kat. This romantic comedy is fun and full of adventure as the plan unfolds and harms a few people in the way. Also starring Heath Ledger and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

3. Moana

If you aren’t planning on taking an island vacation over Spring Break, then this is the movie for you. This Oscar-nominated movie will transport you to another world as young Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) seeks to explore the world. This riveting film includes songs written by the one and only Lin Manuel Miranda (writer of Hamilton) that you will enjoy so much you will end up buying the album by the end of the movie.

4. Son in Law

If you are looking for a laugh then look no further than “Son in Law” as small-town college girl, Rebecca (Carla Gugino) brings Crawl, (Pauly Shore) her wacky roommate, home for Thanksgiving break. This movie will provide you with adventure and nonstop laughter.

5. Soul Surfer

This film tells the empowering true story of young professional surfer Bethany Hamilton. After Bethany is attacked by a 14-foot shark, she must learn to deal with her injury and to accept her new life. This inspiring story will give you a whole new perspective on life. It’s the perfect movie for the whole family.
