Rihanna
Singer, songwriter, business woman, actress, role model. With her iconic songs, and trendsetter style, Rihanna is loved all over the world. She was born in Barbados, then traveled to New York when she was only 16 years old to get a start on her music. Now, she is 31 years old and has most definitely left her mark on the music industry.
In 2013, Rihanna accepted the first-ever Icon Award from the American Music Awards. This came as a shock to some people because she was not even 10 years into her career.
Along with all that, she has partnered with Puma to make her own line of clothing and shoes. However, she didn’t stop there. In 2017, Fenty Beauty was launched, and Rihanna made a promise to make the makeup inclusive for all skin colors.
Rihanna is without a doubt an excellent role model for young women, showing hard work and independence.
Princess Leia
Originating from the 1977 classic Star Wars, the white-dressed princess is one of the most adored film characters to have ever been introduced to the big screen.
Most recognizable for her double-bunned hairdo, it has become a staple to women and young girls for movie premieres of new Star Wars films and during the Halloween time.
The heroine plays a key role in the iconic trilogy, helping win the fight against the evil ‘’Galactic Empire’’ and bringing peace and restoration to the galaxy. She is known as one of the greatest leaders of the Rebel Alliance, and is a fighter who never gives up.
