Apple refines iPhone, adds triple camera

After much anticipation, Apple released the iPhone 11 last month. It’s an upgrade from the iPhone 8, but nothing you should scrap your XS for.

Here’s why and here’s what’s changed:

The inclusion of a new midnight green

So far the media and the general community has taken the new look very well. Midnight green has been one of their best selling colors of the iPhone 11 Pro.

The addition of a triple lense camera

The addition of the triple lense to the iPhone 11 Pro has struck up conversation in the tech community. The three camera setup has increased the camera’s eld of view offering stunning wide angle shots. This is a big upgrade from the previous model but will everyone use it?

Water resistance

The iPhone 11 is water resistant up to 2 meters for up to 30 minutes — double the depth of iPhone XR.

No more putting your phone in rice with the added water resistance on the iPhone 11. This is a minor upgrade from the previous model but is still a widely appreciated upgrade.

Starts at $699

A $50 price drop from the iPhone XR shows good signs for the future of iPhone pricing.

iOS 13 preinstalled:

iOS 13 had no major selling point over iOS 12. However, iOS 13 does include many small features that improve the overall experience.

A13 Chip:

Apple introduced their A13 chip. This will improve the speed of the iPhone 11 while also being smaller in the phone.

OLED Retina display and Super Retina XDR display:

The iPhone 11 is using an OLED Retina display while the iPhone Pro and the iPhone Pro Max are using a Super Retina XDR display. Previously, the iPhones had LCD displays except for the iPhone 10 lineup.
