Apple has quietly released AirPods Pro, following the recent success of AirPods. The Air- Pods Pro is currently one of the best wireless headphones with the addition of new features. The new AirPods are in a new form factor and have a wider case that is a bit bigger, as well as a new design for the individual pods.
The new design offers new pressure-sensitive touch controls on the stems, rubber tips (rather than the plastic ones), and new air ow pathways, along with the pods themselves being smaller and more discreet.
Some of the new features that are offered are the customizable t ear tips, sweat and water resistance, adaptive EQ, and wireless charging. Apple did keep the same H1 chip for pairing the Airpods Pro so the process of connecting the AirPods should be the same as the previous versions.
By far the biggest change to the AirPods Pro is the Active Noise Cancellation. It gives the earbuds the feel of noise-canceling over-ear headphones similar to Bose and Sennheiser but on a minimal scale. It’s nice to bring people into the world of noise cancellation.
The performance of the AirPods Pro is better than the previous AirPods; the quality is a bit better than Galaxy Buds but similar. They will t a variety of ears rather than t certain ears, and they stay put more securely. The regular AirPods are $149.99 and the AirPods Pro are $249.99. If you have a solid pair of wireless earbuds, there is no need to upgrade.
I will give it a recommendation only if you are looking to get into wireless earbuds and if you are using an iPhone because there is still a slight noticeable latency using them on Android. The AirPods Pro are reasonably priced, but overall, taking everything into account, specifications and more, this will be a 4 star out of 5 for me.
