The Indian Trail cheerleading teams have been doing nothing but great this year.

For the fourth year in a row, the Junior Varsity Cheer Team has gained the title of State Champions.

“The JV team did great and peaked at the right time and were able to rock the gym,” said Julie Kerkman, head cheer coach.

The Junior Varsity team also earned the overall high score at the competi- tion.

The Varsity Cheer Team also brought home some good news, capturing first place in the large division at the iCheer competition in Greendale.

“We were able to beat teams that we will be going up against in regionals,” said Kerkman.

Varsity regionals is Feb. 15. Qualifying teams will then advance to compete at state in Madison on Feb. 22.
