The CW has another superhero powerhouse. Their third season veteran Arrow is one of the original shows of this comic book craze. Arrow’s viewers are rising by the year, with this year averaging 4 million viewers per episode. This is not the first time we have seen the Emerald Archer on the small screen. During the CW’s past 10 seasons of the hit Smallville, the Green Arrow was a recurring character in the show and was a huge contributor to the plot.

The show takes a different approach to how they portray Green Arrow, us- ing flashbacks to show how he became the hero he is. This season has picked up with the same intensity as the end of second season, with Oliver broke and dealing with the loss of his mother and finding out that his sister’s father is the man who tried to kill him in the first season.

The show has a cast that seems to be running on all cylinders all the time, with Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen whom is the brooding but likeable bro- ken hero, struggling with the choice to kill or not to kill.

The CW seems to have a huge plan in place, considering after the first season of Arrow they green lighted their now hit spin off The Flash. They released a statement saying they plan to keep adding more heroes throughout the year and they have kept their promise having added the ex Superman Re- turns star Brendon Routh as Ray Palmer aka the Atom in this new season. This season seems to be off to a great start with hopes for great season and many more to come 4/5 stars.
