Despite a terrible drive to school the morning of the ACT, Indian Trail High School & Academy’s junior class came out in full force March 3 for testing.

Almost all of the school’s 538 juniors were at school on time to take the exam. Only 17 students were absent. Students who attended were serious and prepared for testing as well, said Principal Maria Kotz.

“Our entire staff could not be prouder of their efforts today. Thank you, junior class, you did an amazing job,” said Kotz.

On March 4, juniors also took the ACT WorkKeys. The WorkKeys assessment system is used by many employers as part of the hiring process and students may earn their WorkKeys certificates if they do well on the assessment.
