Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters is a classic, but this modern day girl power twist on the original will make you die of laughter. It’s a film full of adventure and endless laughs as Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate MiKinnon and Leslie Jones take on these iconic roles. Oh, and not to mention their senseless sidekick receptionist Chris Hemsworth. If that cast alone doesn’t make you interested, then I don’t know what will.

2. Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus is an oldie but a goody. This bewitching fantasy movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler, and Kathy Najimy will not fail to entertain you. This film is adventurous and fun, while still being spooky and mysterious. It’s the perfect movie to watch with the whole family.

3. The Addam’s Family

We have all heard the theme song. The movie, based on the 1960s sitcom, is a classic that will never die out. This out-of-this-world family will creep you out so much that you can’t help but laugh. Every day is Halloween in the Addam’s household, so who better than them to throw you into the Halloween spirit.

4. Disturbia

Disturbia is a suspenseful thriller that will not fail to leave you on the edge of your seat. Shia Labeouf stars in this breathtaking drama, his character, Kale, (no not the vegetable) suspects that his next store neighbor is a cold-blooded killer, but Kale can’t do much about because he is on house arrest. This movie is perfect for a night in with your friends.

5. The House at The End of the Street

The House at the End of the Street is a riveting horror movie starring Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence plays Elissa, a teenage girl who discovers bone-chilling secrets about her love interest, who lives in the eerie house next store. This movie will leave you breathless and take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, as Elissa uncovers the truth about the past murder in the “House at the End of the Street”. It’s a climactic mystery that will keep you guessing until the very end.
