The game of soccer is all about working together, something that the Indian Trail boys soccer team is doing every day. They are currently 4-5-4 in the season so far (at press time). Each day they are improving and getting closer as a team.
One game they played exceptionally well was against Racine Park High School .
“We played really well that game because of our two-touch passing,” said Hunter Schultz, an Indian Trail sophomore.
The two-touch passing allowed the Indian Trail team to move the ball up the field faster, helping them win the game 5-2.
“I like how the team works together as a unit and not just individually,” said Jake Laurent, another IT sophomore.
Every day the boys soccer team is improving and working hard to improve their skills. They are also working toward their goal of being in the top of their conference this year.
Many of the boys on the soccer team look forward to the game against Bradford High School.
“I am excited to play Bradford because we get to be the first game that is played on their new field,” Schultz said.
