IT students deal with winter break boredom

Don’t get me wrong I love winter break as much as the next person, but we all know that throughout the long and cold winter break we aren’t sure what to do with all of that down time. I decided to get the scoop on some of our Hawks’ favorite activities to do over the break.

One of the longest parts of the break are those last few days of anticipation right before Christmas. “I like to binge-watch the days away, since I never have time to watch a lot of T.V. during school,”

said Kylee Ballard, an Indian Trail senior.
“If there is snow on the ground, you will nd me outside with my family having a huge snowball fight and making snow angels,” said Madison Rios, a Communications sophomore.
After Christmas, when all the anxiousness and excitement has drawn to an end is when the real boredom hits.
“I love reading over break, it’s the perfect time to crack open a good book,” said Jessica Motes, an Indian Trail senior.
“Sledding is one of my favorite things to do in the winter,” said Cassie Fournier, an Indian Trail General Studies junior.
As winter break approaches, keep these ideas in mind when planning out your festive break. Enjoy winter break Hawks, and Happy Holidays!
