Qdoba beats Chipotle in battle of Kenosha’s Mexican grills

If you are ever in the mood to eat at a Mexican Grill in Kenosha, consider these two very popular

options: Qdoba and Chipotle.

Chipotle was recently built. The outside looks inviting, but the inside is small and crowded. From the moment you walk in, it feels cramped and claustrophobic. There’s no speci c line, and if you want to eat at a table, you better make friends with the stranger sit- ting next to you because you’ll basically be sitting on them!

The food is good, but lacks robust avor. If you do not like a lot of spice than this is the place for you! The one exception to Chipo- tle is they take pride in their fresh ingredients, Everything in there is clean and simple.

You can see the kitchen as soon as you walk in and get a good visual of how everything is made. Just like in Qdoba, you have the option to add or subtract whatever you want on your meal, a lot like the setup Subway uses. The down-

side is how long the line gets in such a tiny space.
Qdoba’s building layout is more spacious. It helps that they have a designated line with a wall to

separate the people ordering and those who are eating. Tables are also more spaced out and the building itself is also a lot bigger. The menus of Qdoba and Chipotle are quite similar in offering burritos, tacos, and bowls. Except the difference is Chipotle’s menus is basic, standard, and small, while Qdoba’s menu has a wider variety of options.

Just like Chipotle, you can see the chefs in Qdoba cooking and prepping the food. With Qdoba there are a lot more avors and spices. If you enjoy having a lot of avors and spices in your mouth, then I suggest you check this place out! Overall, I think both places are delicious, but it will depend on your palate as to which one you will prefer.
