Star Wars Rogue One is an action-packed lm directed by Gareth Edwards. This recently released movie dominated the box of ce by making about $829 million as of Jan. 24, 2017. Rogue One came in at No. 2, right behind Finding Dory for 2016 do-mestic grosses.
It is the first Star Wars standalone movie. It is an all new epic adventure starring Felicity Jones (Jyn Erso), who plays a strong independent female role, and Diego Luna (Cassian Andor), who plays an intelligence officer.
The movie itself had the good service every Star Wars fan expected. Wherever you stand on episodes I, II or III, many original Star Wars fans give Rouge One the credit where it’s due with the rest of the Star Wars movies. It hits on many elements that can be very nostalgic to those who hold the original trilogy very close to their heart. Rouge One intertwines the old and the new from characters to the plot.
But every movie has it flaws, including Rogue One. The computer graphics in the movie could be very noticeable, especially when the camera delivered a closeup on a character or remained on a character for too long. If you have an eye for these, it may bother you loads.
There are also many characters that get introduced that don’t really get background stories. That could bother moviegoers who need these elements of a character in order to follow along with them.
The soundtrack, like in all Star Wars movies, is phenomenal. All and all, this deserves 4.5 stars out
of five.
