BTS World is a soundtrack that consists of a tracklist holding 14 songs. The album itself appears very dull and simple. It has a plain black cover just with the title. On the side of the album, there is a line of color bordering the box. It shines with a rainbowish tint which gives the album some uniqueness.
The album opens up to their first song, “Heartbeat.” All 14 songs are well made with high-quality beats, but “Heartbeat” stood out the most. To begin with, consider the lyrics “lovers destined to meet.” No matter their circumstances and decisions, somewhere around the galaxies their hearts would’ve become one.
“Heartbeat” itself holds a very special place in my heart. The song itself with its melody harmonizing with my thoughts has helped me stay calm and be wiser as a person. I nd the lyrics of this particular song really unique and upbeat. The tempo of the song makes the melody complete and ts well with the constellation theme. Their lyr- ics branch many thoughts within me. “It leaves me feeling seasick baby,” is one of my favorite lyrics. It expresses how I feel on a daily basis with all my insecurities and flaws. The song’s harmony melts all negativity into stars.
The remaining 13 songs are also very unique and upbeat. “Dream Glow” features, Charli XCX. “A Brand New Day” is a song sung by J-hope and V, featuring Zara Lars- son. “All Night” is the last song of the soundtrack sung by the members. It is sung by RM and Suga, featuring Juice WRLD.
The rest of the track is used on their mobile game. “Captain” (RM theme), “Cake Waltz” (Jimin theme), “Shine” (Suga theme), “Not Alone” (Jungkook theme), “Friends” (J-hope theme), “Wish” (Jin theme), and “Flying” (V theme) are the rest of the songs on the album. They are just instrumental songs that relate more to the mobile game. Even if they are just instrumental, all seven songs t perfectly with the other four because they’re still trying to send out the message of never giving up.
Inside of the album, there is a poster, two photo cards, and a BTS live concert ticket. The CD and album book is also included. The album can run a little expensive, but you do get your money’s worth.
I give this starry album a four out of five.
