The Hawks girls volleyball team looks to build off a solid, impressive season last year with some new faces including Brianna McClinton and Amaya Ander- son. The team has also brought back some key players from last year including second team all conference player Allison Laurent and honorable mention all conference player Lexi Caruso.

“The team works really well together,” said Laurent.

In September, for the first time in history, the Indian Trail Girls Volleyball took first in their own tournament. They went undefeated for the entire tournament beating teams such as Wilmot, Milwaukee Lutheran, Bradford, Kettle Moraine, and Racine Horlick.

“After winning against Horlick, a team we had yet to play, it felt very satisfying to finally accomplish something we all wanted and worked for,” said Captain Caruso, after winning the championship match.

(At press time, the team’s records were 21-12 overall and 3-3 conference.)
